Truro Farmers’ Market Vendor Application Instructions

The 2026 application will open mid-March.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the Truro Farmers’ Market!

If you would like to sell your Cape Cod harvest at the market, please read the literature below and fill out the relevant forms. Parts of the application process can be completed online, however you will need to send in additional forms by either emailing them to trurofarmersmarket@sustainablecape.org or mailing them to Truro Farmers Market, PO Box 988, Truro, MA 02666.

Please note: Our fairly firm rule for the Truro Farmers’ Market is that your food – only food – must be grown, made, or caught in Barnstable County.

If you are a Community Organization, Non-Profit, Government Organization or Committee, or Healthcare Organization interested in educational tabling only, please fill out our Farmers Market Tabling Registration Form. Thank you!

Instructions:

1. Read the TFM Handbook

2. Complete the Vendor Application. This is an online form, where you will provide your business’s information, crop list, insurance details, as well as choose what type of vendor you would like to be along with the corresponding vendor fee that you will mail in or pay via Venmo to Sustainable CAPE. Once you hit “submit”, the Market Manager will receive your application.

3. Complete the Token Program Agreement Form. This document allows you to accept tokens at the market. Vendors who sell food to be prepared or consumed at home are eligible for this program. Vendors who sell food only to be consumed at the market are not eligible, per USDA rules. Please include this form in the packet you send in to us.

4. Read the Truro Board of Health Conditions for Farmers’ Market Food Vendors and complete the following Truro Board of Health form that applies to you. Please include the applicable form in the packet you send to us, along with the applicable required documentation.

5. Double-check that you have submitted the online Vendor Application and prepared the Token Program Agreement Form, the Truro Board of Health’s “Whole Farm Product Registration Form” and/or “Farmers’ Market Temp. 6. Mail forms & payment(s). Please send in the forms by emailing scans to trurofarmersmarket@sustainablecape.org or mailing them to Truro Farmers Market, PO Box 988, Truro, MA 02666. For further questions, please email the Truro Farmers’ Market Manager at trurofarmersmarket@sustainablecape.org.

P.S. For vendors interested in applying to both our Provincetown and Truro Educational Farmers’ Markets: Since 2024, we have streamlined the application process so you only need to complete a single form to apply to both markets. When completing the vendor application, you will be prompted to note interest in applying to the other market. While completion of separate Town Board of Health applications and market fees will be required, this process will reduce duplication of effort for market vendors.

Note: Our forms are updated online every year by March. All application materials have been updated for the 2026 Season as of 2/21/2026.
